When wearing, the hemline drops at centre front, then rises upswards towards the side seams. The cardigan is not meant to fit over the hips, only fitting perfectly accross the bustline.

Wabi-Sabi means 'perfectly imperfect' in Japanese. Being wabi-sabi is to be happy and satisfied, even when things are not 100% perfect. This pattern was originally published in Issue 25 of Creative Hobbies (August 2017). The Wabi-Sabi Cardigan is a great pattern that combines knitting with crochet. But fear not, non-crocheters! If you can't, (or don't want to) crochet the sleeve edging, simply work a couple of garter stitch rows and knit the sleeve to the correct length. If you don't want your top to be as oversized as your regular size (per the pattern), make one size smaller as you will be doing the sleeves according to your own measurements. Amongst other things, we don't use plastic bags to shop anymore. But we know how super busy moms can be. With careers, with kids, with everyday stuff. Remembering to take the fabric bags along for the weekly shop might not be at the top of the list! This is where the Moscow Market Bag comes in. Firstly, it can be made in any one of our three Eco ranges of yarns and the best part is, that it has a handy little pouch as part of the design, so the entire bag can be folded and stored in even the smallest of handbags. The entire project uses only two balls of yarn in contrasting colours and only takes a few hours to complete, making it an easy AND economical project. PS. We used this bag extensively during our recent visit to Russia and it was brilliant!
