Rebel is a super oversized top and the sleeves are custom made to have a reasonable tight fit. If you don't want your top to be as oversized as your regular size (per the pattern), make one size smaller as you will be doing the sleeves according to your own measurements. Wabi-Sabi means 'perfectly imperfect' in Japanese. Being wabi-sabi is to be happy and satisfied, even when things are not 100% perfect. This pattern was originally published in Issue 25 of Creative Hobbies (August 2017). The Wabi-Sabi Cardigan is a great pattern that combines knitting with crochet. But fear not, non-crocheters! If you can't, (or don't want to) crochet the sleeve edging, simply work a couple of garter stitch rows and knit the sleeve to the correct length. When wearing, the hemline drops at centre front, then rises upswards towards the side seams. The cardigan is not meant to fit over the hips, only fitting perfectly accross the bustline.
